63. How thinking about your death allows you to live more intentionally
There has been a lot of death in my life lately and so I wanted to record this episode, to encourage you to think about your death - if only so that you can live more genuinely and authentically. Within this episode I discuss the book called Top 5 Regrets of the Dying by Bronnie Ware. The top 5 regrets are:
1. I wish I'd had the courage to live true to myself, not the life of others.
2. I wish I had let myself be happier.
3. I wish I had the courage to express my feelings.
4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
5. I wish I hadn't worked so hard.
Dying Wise: A manifesto for Sanity & Soul by Stephen Jenkinson, is also a brilliant book on dying. If you are looking for more resources.
